Shura /// Just Once /// Honne Remix



South-Westerners Honne have reworked Shura’s ambient and melancholic Just Once. Having given us Warm On A Cold Night earlier this year, we were excited to see them try their hands at something else.
Whilst still allowing room for Shura’s dreamy vocals, the duo have added a plethora of rhythmic layers and have developed the track by adding a melodic bass line. Honne build the remix up enough to get our toes tapping, but still manage to remind us of the sad disposition by looping Shura’s vocals – “Have you ever been lost? We could get lost, I wanna get lost”. If dancing and crying at the same time was a thing, this would be the perfect soundtrack to do it to. Listen below:
